ABOUT THE BOOK:
Book 1:
The Yom Kippur Big Book, Better Than Before brings to life the story behind the holiest day on the Jewish calendar.
Beautiful, carefully designed illustrations elucidate otherwise complex subjects, allowing readers to better grasp the forgiveness of Yom Kippur in a visual way.
The Yom Kippur story goes back in time to the birth of the Jewish Nation and the Giving of the Torah. Trouble began when the new nation thought their leader Moshe was gone. They were quickly convinced that worshiping a golden calf would keep them safe in the desert. They forgot what they had just heard at Mount Sinai: not to worship anything besides G-d. Moshe’s shocking action upon his return helped them realize their terrible mistake. But was it already too late to save the Jewish People? This captivating book retells how Moshe and the Jewish Nation were able to turn things around. Their sincere efforts to return to G-d gave us the holiday of Yom Kippur forever, and the power to always make our connection to the One Above even better than before!
Book 2:
The Yom Kippur Big Book: How To Celebrate sheds light on the customs of the holiest day on the Jewish calendar.

"The Yom Kippur book was so useful even when it's not Yom Kippur! I just used it to explain 17 Tammuz. The book gives a timeline and amazing pictures, giving context to explain the journey of the Jews in the dessert. Most importantly, the book points to such a core Torah value. People think Yom Kippur is "scary" or "serious". You frame it the way it really is. Very beautifully done. Pease make more books. It is having a far reaching impact"
FAQ:
Why softcover?
The book is 52 pages which exceeds previous big books. A hard cover book with these many pages is very heavy and cumbersome to use as well as a strain on the binding. Two hardcover books would also make the price significantly higher. The laminated pages are durable and come in a convenient hard, sturdy slipcase that perfect for storage and protection when not in use. With the proper care the book should stay true to form.
Why two books?
How should I care for my book?
It is recommended to handle with care, as big books are more delicate than regular-sized books due to their size.
Your little friends will be eager to read the big book on their own. However, if you want to keep it in pristine condition, it’s best to avoid having children handle it directly. The regular-sized books are a perfect companion to the big book, allowing children to enjoy a hands-on experience with a smaller version they can love and read over and over again.
What age is this book for?
The large size and realistic style illustrations captivates all ages. People have used the book for toddlers, Hebrew School all ages, teens, and seniors. Adults love it too. The text is geared for ages 3+.
It's a great gift idea for kids or grandparents to share with their grandchildren.
